Easy Garlic Bread


My family loves this! Makes a great Breakfast or snack.Its lovely comfort food.Its very easy to make and tastes delicious...


Ingredients:-

5 slices white Bread/French Bread
2 tsp Butter
2 tsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Oregano
1 tsp chopped Parsley
2 tsp finely minced and smashed Garlic
Salt as per taste
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)





Method:-

In a pan, allow butter to melt. Add olive oil & heat it a bit. Add minced and smashed garlic, Oregano & chopped parsley ,salt and mix.
Spread this mix on fresh sliced white bread on both the sides.
Toast it on a non stick pan or heat under the broiler for 10 minutes until light brown.
Serve immediately, while hot with a HOT cup of tea or Coffee ..  .. Enjoy!!!

NOTE: You can add some grated Parmesan cheese or mozzarella on top while toasting the bread. I didn't want to add more calories, so I skipped this on.

If you don't have fresh Garlic on hand, you can replace it with Garlic Powder.
